Key Responsibilities:

The Editor will have the following duties:
• Manage and continuously enhance Millicom’s website and external online channels
• Co-manage online internal communications channels with the Global Internal Communications Manager

• Create, develop and maintain positive written and audiovisual content for the website, social media and internal communications channels in line with corporate newsflow and overall strategy
• Research, write, commission and publish material for online channels
• Contribute to the evolution of the architecture, functionality and design of online channels
• Manage agencies supporting online delivery
• As a member of the Corporate Communications team, contribute to its overall work
• Write content for offline channels

Desired Skills & Experience:

• At least five years working as a writer or journalist in a business environment, ideally for geographically diverse audiences
• Familiarity with modern online engagement techniques
• Experience of writing for a variety of online audiences
• Commissioning and production of audiovisual material
• Working with online developers and IT personnel to achieve content change
• Management of agencies
• Budgeting for online delivery

• Website management
• Written and visual content creation
• Familiarity with the telecommunications and media sectors
• Understanding of public relations planning techniques

• Fluency in English, with either Spanish or Swedish an advantage
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong presentation and communications skills
• Ability to write creatively for a diverse range of audiences
