If you have a consumer/lifestyle background in PR and have worked your way up to Account Manger level (or superstar Senior Account Executive ready for that promotion) then I may just have the new challenge you are looking for. A superb opportunity has arisen for an AM to work across some big name consumer brands.
Key day-to-day tasks of an AM include:
-Developing and implementing creative projects for all clients
-Account managing existing and new clients
-Management of big budgets
-Management of account executive through to Junior Account Managers
-Pitching in news stories to key media of (national print journalists, trade and broadcast)
-Talent liaison, managing set up and running of radio campaigns
-Organising and planning media events, arranging photocalls an stunts/launches

The ideal candidate will come from a big brand consumer background.
Key attributes of the AM include:
- Already be at Account Manager level from a PR agency background
-Must have experience on managing large client budgets
-Must have current big brand consumer experience
-Excellent client handling skills
- Ability to manage junior team members
-UK experience is essential as are excellent media contacts within the UK consumer press
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Social media experience across current client campaigns a bonus
-possess a strong news nose
-be a media hound and have strong sense of what makes a good story
-Already have good contacts but have drive to constantly maintain and grow these, whatever level you are in the agency
-Be an extremely good pitcher whether it`s for a news story or a new biz meeting
