Head of PR

Our business is fun. Our customers like us (too much sometimes!) and we like them.
We’re growing fast (because people like us) but we’re still a pretty well kept secret and that’s why we’re seeking someone amazing to lead our PR activity.
This isn’t your typical ‘in-house’ job.
Based in Solihull, the business is 10 years old and has three main brands – each in a different market, encompassing both B2B and consumer – so there’s a variety in this role that makes it more like being in an agency.
We’ve built a unique culture over the last few years, all centred on the core values that anything is possible and any dream can be realised (we’re still waiting for news of Girls Aloud being caught in a sudden downpour just outside our office).
Land this job and you’ll have the autonomy and freedom to really make your mark.
If you’re the right person for this role you’ll be creative, have at least a 3-5 year track record of stellar performance in PR and be able to show us that you’ve regularly achieved above expectation for your clients.
It doesn't matter what area you’ve been working in, b2b or consumer; our market is so broad all that matters is that you can prove you have the necessary skills and tenacity.
You’ll need to be hands-on, flexible, self-sufficient and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. You won’t mind getting your hands dirty and you’ll be genuinely excited about being part of real innovation in both established and emerging markets (told you we were different!)
You’ll have a sharp appreciation of the need to deliver commercial benefits from PR campaigns.
You’ll probably see this role as a 2-3 year assignment that will accelerate your career progression and you’ll love the chance to work with such a dynamic, high calibre team.
- You’ll be the driving force behind the company’s PR strategies and activities within the UK.
- You will be expected to make an immediate impact as you work alongside the rest of the senior management team.
- You’ll have responsibility for the creation, planning, and implementation of all our PR strategies and activities.
