Acting as a true Business Partner, you will proactively identify and successfully respond to our internal and external communication needs. In this key role, you'll act as the lead for national media enquiries, crisis management and seeking out profile raising opportunities with key media. You will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the brand both internally and externally and managing our roster of external design agencies. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing campaigns and analysing their impact and effectiveness. You’ll line manage a team of four inspiring them to perform at their best and to deliver a creative and efficient service, integrated within the work/goals of the team as a whole. It means coaching and developing your team; giving guidance on dealing with complex issues and providing supervision. You’ll work closely alongside the three Communications Business Partners in the team and work with a variety of client areas across the business. You’ll be decisive, yet have the ability to work as a team player to help deliver the corporate communication goals of the business.

You will be working closely with a wide range of contacts from across the organisation and outside agencies, so it's important that you have the ability to build links and strong working relationships. You will have a passion for communications and brand marketing, with in-depth knowledge of crisis management, stakeholder management and the variety of communications media, including social media.  Above all, you must be a skilled line manager, who can get the best out of people. Personable, articulate and encouraging, you take pride in providing the very best customer service.
