Our client is a multi-award winning consumer PR consultancy who deliver ground-breaking campaigns to some of the most iconic and best-loved FMCG brands. They are now looking to recruit an exceptionally talented Account Director with solid consumer and big brand experience to join their fun, forward-thinking team.

This role will work across a diverse collection of FMCG super brands which include food & drink, confectionary, alcohol and consumer lifestyle products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior PR professional looking to become an influential member of a thriving and supportive food, drink and lifestyle team. The successful candidate will be largely responsible for supporting clients’ business objectives, driving commercial awareness of both product and brand.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop excellent relations with all senior personnel up to Commercial Director level in client companies to secure long term mutual business success
  • Help to identify and gain organic growth within the current client base to drive increased profitable revenue
  • Constantly seek and maximise opportunities for additional quality client coverage to exceed their expectations
  • Manage relevant evaluation tools to ensure client satisfaction on this level e.g. accessing Metrica, Mediadisc
  • Lead and direct quarterly/ annual reviews and strategic planning days with clients
  • Devising strategy to identify and cultivate new business opportunities in addition to growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Maintaining and building key media relations across both traditional and digital media
  • Ensure team manage their budgets and PO’s and keep track of all budgets on a monthly basis
  • Help support and develop employees within their individual clients and ensure they maintain sufficient responsibility and motivation


  • Previous experience of working on big brand campaigns
  • Good time management skills/ ability to manage more junior staff
  • Strong client service experience
  • A good understanding of increasing opportunities to increase clients’ revenue stream
  • Challenge conventional thinking and traditional PR tactics with pro-active ideas
