My client, a successful and well-established integrated agency based in central Manchester, is looking for a talented PR Account Manager to strengthen their award winning consumer team.

This agency provides PR, marketing, digital, and design solutions to a host of very well-known clients and brands, and is looking for a talented account manager  to join their nationally-recognised consumer PR team.  You will be working with some stunning brands in the FMCG sector and help shape the already-very successful consumer team of this agency.  You will be acting as the day-to-day client contact on several reputable accounts as well as the opportunity to  manage and mentor account executives.   

Your responsibilities will include the delivery of client projects across consumer the team as well as researching and writing for editorial opportunities and various kinds of copy, generating ideas for accounts, attending events and getting involved in all stages of the creative process.   You will also  provide strategic input identify opportunities for new business.   Of course, having experience within an agency consumer based role is required, but for this agency other factors have a larger part to play - attitude, outlook, and ability are equally important.

You should certainly have an interest in the consumer sector, ideally with good market knowledge and media contacts as well as being creative, driven, and ambitious.   Alongside this, you must have gained excellent experience in client account management in an agency, managing people, project management, and working alongside senior decision-makers, and should have a good understanding of all areas of the communications mix, including PR, video, design,  digital and social media. 

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be educated to degree level, have at least three years agency based experience with a strong consumer bias.   You will also  have strong commercial acumen, confidence, diplomacy, ambition, creativity, and a positive and friendly outlook will also go a long way!    This may suit a Senior Account Executive looking to progress, or someone already with a couple of years' Account Manager experience; either way, this agency is hard-working and friendly, with an excellent staff development programme, a range of benefits.  Send your CV to, or call Simon or Sara on 0161 425 7352 for further information.
