A unique and exciting new opportunity has come up for a Director or Associate Director level candidate within the healthcare sector. A leading health policy and public affairs firm is developing a new separate division to work alongside the policy team with a focus on global healthcare and corporate communications. Capitalising initially on organic growth with the firm’s very impressive and established client base, this new team is being devised to grow and broaden the healthcare communications offering with the aim of the firm becoming a one-stop shop for their client’s healthcare communications needs.

The head of the global healthcare team is already in place and already begun to develop the business – this particular opportunity will be to operate as their number two so you will need to be someone who is excited and keen to help build a new business which has a clear and defined forecast. You will assist in recruiting a new team of specialists around you and be passionate about business development and growth. The initial remit is more focussed on corporate communications, reputation management, issues & crisis, market access etc. than on traditional product PR and the client base will potentially include a broad range of companies including pharmaceutical organisations, health insurers and Law firms to name a few.

You will also have the added bonus of working alongside a large team of specialists within the health policy and public affairs sector so if you have an interest in that area, this would be the ideal place to work.
