Rare and exiting new role has just been carved out at a leading lifestyle PR agency that has been nominated for a prestigious PR Week Award.

The right candidate will be an Account Director or Senior Account Manager with exceptional travel PR industry experience and contacts. The person will be very driven and keen to be part of building a thriving travel PR department. New business will be a big part of this role with the drive to build upon the portfolio that currently includes enviable clients from tourist boards through to luxury hotels.

Account Director candidates will possess / have experience in:

- Travel PR background from a UK PR agency, having worked way up to Account Director level or be a Senior Account Manager ready for a promotion
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial spirit with strong new business skills
- Well connected in travel industry with strong passion for travel, lifestyle and culture
- Providing senior level strategic council to clients
- Strong evidence of leading client campaigns and been key point of contact for the client and offering consultative services to clients
- Budgeting experience ensuring all projects are completed to deadline and within budget
- Planning and executing strategies
- Proven ability managing team members from AEs through to Account Managers
- Excellent UK media relations
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Digitally savvy
