This is an opening for a consumer and brand focused PR Account Manager to join an award wining integrated agency based in the heart of Manchester.

This agency provides PR, marketing, digital, and design solutions to a host of very well-known clients and brands, and is looking for a talented individual to strengthen their nationally-recognised consumer PR team. It is the type of role which will enable you to work on a portfolio of stunning brands in the FMCG and retail sectors and help shape the on going success of their consumer team. 

Working closely with the senior team, you will be acting as the day-to-day client contact on several reputable accounts as well as the opportunity to manage and mentor account executives. Your responsibilities will include the delivery of client projects, planning long term campaigns and identifying editorial opportunities and attending events as and when necessary.   

You should certainly have an interest in the consumer sector, ideally with good market knowledge and media contacts as well as being creative, driven, and ambitious. Alongside this, you must have gained excellent experience in client account management in an agency, managing people, project management, and working alongside senior decision-makers, and should have a good understanding of all areas of the communications mix. 

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be educated to degree level, have at least three years agency based experience with a strong consumer bias. You will also have strong commercial acumen, ambition, creativity, and a positive and friendly outlook will also go a long way! This may suit a Senior Account Executive looking to progress, or someone already with a couple of years' Account Manager experience; either way, this agency is hard-working and friendly, with an excellent staff development programme and a range of benefits.
