Associate Director – Issues & Crisis

Global full service PR agency seeks an established Associate Director to help lead their issues and crisis team.  You will be working across some extremely high profile and confidential accounts within a variety of sectors including food & drink, retail, sport & leisure and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Take a leading role in developing the global + UK client crisis work
  • Lead and develop best practice across the Western + Southern Europe network for the crisis digital offer
  • Provide senior client counsel
  • Oversee and support the growth and development of the issues and crisis team including line management responsibility
  • Work closely with the MD of the team in relation to new business
  • Address and manage potential risks for clients and continue to develop crisis communication strategies and plans for clients of the agency overall
  • Act as a representative for the division in relevant forums and network groups and participate in relevant speaker platforms
  • Responsible for budget management
  • Previous consumer brand reputation management experience and/or issues PR experience, gained in an agency environment
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of current affairs and has digital communications experience
  • Sound knowledge of the UK media
