This multinational IT company, known for delivering cloud-based computing, is looking for an EMEA Corporate Communications Manager, based in North London. This role is responsible for managing and executing strategic and tactical public relations and analyst relations programs to drive awareness and thought leadership the client's infrastructure business.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing public relations and analyst relations programs that get results across all facets of the business including products and technologies, industry thought leadership, corporate issues and executive profiles, strategic partners, and proactive media/analyst relations
* Working with regional sales, marketing and other stakeholders to understand upcoming news and developing a cadence of activities to successfully promote how the business is helping CIOs transform their IT environments for the cloud, while understanding the company's corporate directives and priorities
* Thinking creatively about thought leadership storylines and how to amplify through strategic media relationships with regional spin
* Educating and enforcing regional corporate PR policies internally and externally
* Developing strong relationships with peers at partner companies to ensure successful individual and joint PR/AR initiatives
* Collaborating with corporate communications team members, other regional PR teams, business and marketing stakeholders, strategic partners and others to create, build and execute programs on a global basis, including major company launches and key trade shows
* Establishing and/or expanding relationships with key regional business, trade and channel journalists and analysts who cover the IT space
* Developing key communications vehicles, including news releases, media pitches, blog posts, spokesperson quotes, messaging docs and FAQs, presentations, award and speaking submissions, analyst calls and events, etc.

Key requirements and skills:

* Bachelors or Masters Degree
* A strong background in corporate communications for the IT sector, preferably with knowledge of converged infrastructure, servers, networking, storage and virtualization
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple announcements and projects simultaneously, with an eye toward both big-picture implications and detail-oriented execution
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and sell ideas
* Ability to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with all cross-functional areas internally and externally with peers, journalists, analysts and partners
* A proven track record of executing high-impact corporate communications programs for technology companies
* A reputation as a highly motivated self-starter with strong project management skills
* The confidence, instinct, finesse and diplomacy required to interact with and drive consensus across multiple internal and stakeholders with often conflicting opinions and viewpoints
* A strong sense of humor
