This highly respected beauty PR agency are on the lookout for either an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to come on board, join the team and to work on some fantastic beauty clients. Based in stunning offices with exposed bare brick walls and wooden floors located in a super trendy and upcoming area, this is the new challenge for you!!

Day To Day Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing PR calendars and timelines
  • Working with Directors on brand plans and strategy
  • Writing press releases and copy
  • Overseeing reader offers, competitions and other promotional activity
  • Overseeing evaluation on each campaign
  • Ensuring has up to date and relevant product knowledge.
  • Managing client budget trackers, ensuring all activity runs to budget with relevant mark up

Media Responsibilities:

  • Responding to relevant media enquiries
  • Monitoring all relevant media – across newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcast and blogs
  • Delegating response source enquiries
  • Securing coverage via pro-active pitching to a wide range of press – including news and feature placements
  • Running press events and managing the debrief process
  • Assisting in securing attendees for press events
  • Attending press appointments at Editor/Director level
  • Assisting in creation of social media strategy for relevant clients

Client Responsibilities:

  • Giving regular client counsel
  • Leading client meetings and conference calls
  • Preparing and checking monthly status reports
  • Checking contact reports
  • Developing good working relationships with each client

Management Responsibilities:

  • Managing Account Executives and Senior Account Executives
  • Overseeing management of work experience/interns by the Press Co-ordinator
  • Running regular internal ‘to do’ meetings with relevant account teams, ensuring that AE and PC responsibilities are carried out

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Regular networking within the beauty industry
  • Ensuring relevant industry knowledge is up to date
  • Researching new business leads and putting forward to Directors
  • Working on and attending new business pitches
  • Running internal brainstorm sessions

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ideally an established Account Manager, either agency and/or in-house within the beauty sector
  • A passion for the health and beauty industry
  • A creative thinker
  • Great team management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Established press contacts within the beauty sector
