Dynamic and super trendy Shoreditch fashion and lifestyle PR agency is recruiting an Account Manager to join its busy team and expanding portfolio. The candidate will work across key womenswear accounts and must have an understanding of the menswear market for unisex clients. They are looking for a communications expert with a strong work ethic, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and team player abilities. You will work with high profile international fashion clients and have the opportunity to progress your career at a fast pace.

Working alongside a senior member of the team:

  • Daily management of press office activities for all clients, eg sample send outs, journalist appointments,
  • Regular creation of trend-lead, creative press materials, eg digital trend flashes, news stories etc
  • Daily contact with all key press contacts, including regular meetings
  • Management of strategic activities (alongside director) for all clients including involvement in strategic planning, implementation etc
  • Regular management of events eg Seasonal Press Days, LFW/LC:M events, new season launches, press breakfasts including overseeing guest lists, invite distribution, confirmation, production etc
  • Ability to manage and encourage junior members of the team, plus report upwards to senior team
  • Day-to-day liaison with client, updating on all activities, ordering product etc
  • Daily monitoring for press coverage, and forwarding directly to client, social media teams etc  
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting with coverage analysis etc.
  • Management of client budgets where applicable
  • Ongoing management of 3rd party suppliers eg Gorkana, photographers, make-up artists, venues etc

Key skills:

  • Experience essential across both womenswear either in-house or agency
  • Extensive contact list of senior fashion press with proven track record of regular placements of news stories, product placement, profiles etc
  • Extensive contact list of key bloggers and social influencers with examples of social media campaigns and results
  • Extensive contact list of key stylists, agents etc for VIP placement with proof of results
  • A real understanding of the fashion industry, trends, media titles etc
  • Time management skills, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Social media savvy with experience of all key social media channels eg Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook etc
  • Strong work ethic and a team player
  • Strong computer and design skills
