As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of PR/ Integrated marketing and digital/social accounts. You will be responsible for delivering results to the client, all elements of account management and for the account’s performance. You will supervise an Account Executive, if required, ensuring they receive the guidance necessary to carry out their work efficiently and to the correct standard. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Handling a number client retainers and projects, developing solid working relationships with your clients through regular and pro-active contact
  • Managing the workload and development of Account Executives and Graduate Associates
  • Working on new business pitches as required
  • Managing projects as requested by clients including but not limited to: media relations, training, social media management/ campaigns, marketing and events
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with key media

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of the financial markets
  • Strong knowledge of financial technology markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent media contact book in the financial and financial technology space both nationals and trade
  • Experience within an agency or an in-house environment at SAE/AM level
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
