One of the UK’s leading technology, B2B and corporate PR agencies is looking for 3 new members of the team ranging from a Senior Account Executive to a Senior Account Manager.

You will effectively support managing the reputation of a range of technology clients from mobile, fast growth and B2B industries.

Our client needs a strong all-rounder – someone who is comfortable and experienced at pitching stories to the media as they are devising social, influencer relations or content campaigns.

Responsibilities for the Account Manager/Senior Account Manager:

  • Working as part of the European hub team for one of the agency’s leading clients, creating all launch press materials for some of the brand’s biggest products
  • Creating a product launch strategy executed by 19 local European markets for new products
  • Helping with some of the industry’s biggest trade events
  • Take a lead on a global Social Media company’s events side of the business
  • Managing European speaking engagements, specifically targeting developer audiences
  • Help plan proactive proposals for the company’s European speakers and making recommendations to the company, based on their current in-market priorities
  • Client relationship management
  • Account strategy, delivery, development & growth
  • Team leadership
  • New business support

Responsibilities for the Senior Account Executive:

  • Project management and client liaison
  • Helping to identify opportunities to place client stories in both trade and consumer tech media
  • Media Relations: having strong media contacts and exceptional media relation skills to sell in client news, handle crisis comms as well as building strong relationships with influential journalists, influencers and bloggers
  • Social content planning creation and community management
  • Ability to identify stories that have the potential to be amplified beyond social to broader PR campaigns
  • Applying knowledge of client markets to create new and potentially award-winning ideas
  • Content production - including written articles, press releases, case studies, thought leadership pieces etc. as well as liaison with central and external content teams for the delivery of additional work including design-led creative, video, social and digital content
  • Reporting & evaluation (including servicing levels)

Key Attributes & Experiences:

  • Technological knowledge and understanding – a strong interest in photography is an advantage
  • Brilliant writing skills

  • Excellent social and digital experience with the ability to manage channels
  • Successfully pitch from client brief and follow through to secure quality coverage
  • Produce a wide range of high quality written material within tight deadlines

  • Strong (degree-level) academic background
  • Interest and understanding of corporate, B2C and B2B technology
  • Strong knowledge of social media management and moderation is a requirement – B2B experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of social technologies
