Communications Coordinator / Account Executive – Arts & Institutions

An award-winning charitable institution is looking for a Communications Coordinator / Account Executive to join their close-knit in-house team. This iconic London organisation has exciting plans for growth and the successful candidate will be working on a major project which aims to develop a new arts centre.

The role offers excellent exposure and a wide mix of comms, including internal and external, stakeholder engagement, project work, and high-profile events. This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious communications professional with a keen interest in the art and cultural worlds.

As Communications Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of first-class internal and external communication strategies
  • Handling media relations, include proactive sell-ins and reactive responses to incoming media and social media enquiries
  • Stakeholder engagement, including regular internal newsletters
  • Supporting the Head of Communications in liaising with
  • Assisting with the delivery of consultation events, as well as other aspects of the campaign

The ideal Communications Coordinator will have:

  • Proven PR or Corporate Communications experience, either in-house or agency
  • Experience working on events
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to write accurate, engaging copy and a sharp eye for proof reading
  • Competence across IT and social media platforms
