This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a newly set up communications function, for a leading forex education and training specialist.

The majority of the role will focus on Learn to Trade, but will additionally support the activity of the charitable arm Greg Secker Foundation.

  • Develop relevant and creative content and copy for use on social media, blogs and websites globally
  • Work with the global businesses to share their stories and news
  • Assist in the development of internal communications
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support their outputs
  • Be a brand ambassador, supporting the messaging and brand across the global organisation
  • Work with the PR agency to maximise the use of corporate news
  • Coordinates the company websites on a daily basis ensuring content is always up-to-date and SEO best practice is applied
  • Input into and implement social media strategy and drive social media engagement
  • Support the social media teams review of digital channels and online reviews, ensuring timely follow up
  • Develop messaging to effectively reply to online positive and negative reviews of the organisation
  • Support cross message promotion of Greg Secker Foundation
  • Organise and run PR events to gain maximum exposure
  • Coordinate monitoring and collation of media coverage
  • Create evaluation reports on communication activity

Essential skills:

  • Degree educated or similar in communications, PR, journalism or related
  • Experience of in-house communications, ideally in a regulated environment
  • Experienced copywriter
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience of the full communications mix including media relations, social media, internal communications and content creation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Background using online CMS platforms
  • Previous experience of working with Google Analytics (or another analytics package)
  • Proven experience of digital content creation, including for social media
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels
  • Understanding of SEO principles for content production
  • Excellent presenting skills and able to articulate ideas to non-marketing effectively
  • Experience of proof reading with a high attention to detail
