Job Details
A British media and entertainment company are looking for a Communications Director to join their team to cover a maternity leave. As Communications Director you will work closely with the marketing team to build and nurture the reputation of the company and its brands, lead a close-knit team, develop plans for new initiatives and act as a communications adviser across different areas of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a music lover to join the senior management team of a leading business!
As Communications Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a communications adviser across different areas of the business
- Sense check company initiatives with reputation in mind and developing plans for new initiatives
- Acting as a key member of the Marketing Management Team
- Ensuring communications and business marketing are both coordinated and supporting each other’s efforts to grow the company’s audience across owned, earned and bought media channels
- Leading a close-knit team of Managing Editors to help drive audiences for focus brands
An ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience as a PR/Communications director with demonstrable achievement
- Issues management experience
- Experience leading and developing high performing teams
- A track record of selling in ideas and projects to internal stakeholders
- A passion for music and entertainment
- The strive to do things differently and an obsession for detail
