The opportunity

A key position supporting the development and roll-out of the flagship sustainability platform for a global agribusiness. The Footprinting Analyst will be responsible for collating, processing, and verifying sustainability data from programmes to ensure the robustness and integrity of the information provided by the organisation to their customers, and gain critical insights from data analysis to help improve sustainability performance.

Main responsibilities

• Liaise with Business Units for all inputs required including pressure testing of data provided
• Produce the Social and Envrionmental Footprint output for all supply chains
• Liaise with all external experts and central Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team for footprinting support
• Periodically conduct analysis of key data to drive improvements in performance

Key skills and experience required

• Extensive experience in quantitative data management and analysis with prior experience of using such skills for agriculture, forestry, or other land uses, and a good understanding of a broad suit of environmental and social metrics
• Understanding of carbon, climate change and water depletion processes and associated metrics in agri-production and supply chains
• Mastery of data management and statistical analysis software, and experience of building complex and fully auditable data models
• Ideally the candidate will also have a strong understanding of Life Cycle Analysis and familiarity with databases such as Ecoinvent
