Corporate PR Manager - Interim

Our client a global tech company is recruiting for an interim Corporate Communications Manager. As a Communications Manager based in London, you will need to have experience as a strong writer, PR, or communication management.

The role:

The position will work as part of the Europe Corporate PR team on implementation of plans that support business priorities and key corporate programmes - focused on areas such as environment, accessibility, job creation and investment. The role will also involve:

  • Drafting messaging documents and briefs through to supporting events and media response
  • Provide timely reporting on all aspects relevant to the role including media reports for senior executives
  • Work collaboratively with the wider PR team in Europe/worldwide and cross functional teams to build and maintain relationships relevant to the role
  • Identify and manage issues, escalating as required
  • Cultivating relationships with national and local media
  • Writing and editing press releases, fact sheets and other media materials.
  • Ensure all internal communication supports key business messages and values

Requirements:

  • Experience in corporate media relations and issues management, preferably working for a global, consumer brand or in PR agency/journalism
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self starter and team player
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English (other European languages beneficial)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Extremely strong writer
  • Consistent experience in communications, such as PR, Press releases
  • Ability to present
  • Team player
  • Quick response to crisis communications is a MUST
  • Stakeholder management
