ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Level of Experience: 1-3 years +

Reporting to: Director, Singapore

Management Responsibilities: Assist the account team effectively and on own initiative

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Play a role on a number of accounts and projects – assisting teams to deliver on goals, objectives and needs of clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ core sectors in order to support and execute successful campaigns, using strategic messaging and effective tactics.
  • Contribute to and cultivate business development opportunities.
  • Assist in targeted marketing of the company to corporate audiences.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop client relationships.
  • Execute tasks for account team leads and/or senior management, including but not limited to client research, drafting of press materials, media/policy monitoring reports, event support etc. 
  • Maintain an awareness of current affairs and external developments, relevant to Hume Brophy’s business and client objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain a network of contacts within political / media / analyst communities, relevant to Hume Brophy’s business and client objectives.
  • Contribute to new business proposals and participate in delivering pitches and strategic presentations with the team.
  • Be a proactive member of the Hume Brophy Asia team, as part of creating a happy and supportive working environment. 
  • Complete timesheets and all other reporting and administrative responsibilities in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Perform all duties assigned to you by your account team lead and/or supervisor, for which you will be provided with on-the-job training in respect of such responsibilities.
  • Effectively manage assigned client workload across the firm’s different main practice areas (public affairs, financial services and technology).
  • Candidate should possess a University degree, preferably in political science, international relations or related field in anticipation of specific support required for public affairs project work
  • Strong policy research and writing skills with 2-3 years of work experience is preferable, though a fresh graduate with the right skill sets will be considered
  • Ability to read and write one other Asian-language (in addition to fluent English) will be advantageous.
