Job Details
An established and well-respected communications agency based a short distance from London Waterloo is looking for an Account Manager that is passionate about sport, to join its growing team!
The company
An exciting and vibrant communications agency based in London with an impressive client base consisting of premium sporting brands, including a growing number of high end golf clients.
As an agency, the client boasts an outstanding reputation in the sports PR industry, not only for its enviable company culture but also its work with some of the industry's biggest and most loved sporting events!
You will:
* Act as main PR & media relations lead across a number of leading golf brands, under the direction of the CEO
* Lead client meetings and strategic and creative campaigns to secure high profile coverage
* Be responsible for managing equipment reviews and product tests with the media
* Liaise with relevant suppliers on all press and marketing activity
* Handle placement of client advertising and artwork to meet publication and digital deadlines
* Play a key role in new business pitches to grow the agency's client base
Key requirements for the role:
* Previous PR experience, ideally in sport or related industry
* A passion for sport and understanding of the commercial sports industry
* Experience in a similar communications or media function at a mid-senior level
* Comfortable managing a junior team and working directly with the CEO on marketing, communications and PR responsibilities
