A dynamic and innovative organisation in the transportation and tourism industry are looking to hire a talented and creative Internal Communications Officer, to assist in the development of their employee engagement strategy and support the internal communications team. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager and sitting in the wider communications team of 10, this is an exciting opportunity in an international organisation which understands the importance of internal communications. The role is hands on giving the successful candidate the opportunity to write and develop campaigns and content, Liaise with senior members of the organisation and look to improve and evolve the internal communications strategy.
 
Main Responsibilities

• Develop internal communications strategy
• Write and distribute regular and ad-hoc internal communications
• Maintain and improve companywide intranet pages
• Actively contribute to companywide newsletter
• Collaborate with the wider communications team to deliver corporate communications key objectives.

Key skills and experience required

• Experience in communications, not necessarily internal
• Exceptional writing skills to produce messages which can be understood by people in various positions across the company which are compelling and easy to digest
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationship across the organisation
• Creative and strategic thinker
