Job Details
A corporate membership association is now looking for a Media Manager to join their lovely team in Holborn. This is a great opportunity to work with high profile businesses!
As Media Manager, you will be the first point of contact for national and trade media. Their markets are high profile, so financial PR experience is essential, as is the ability to confidently deal with enquiries from senior journalists. The role also requires advanced drafting skills to help produce corporate documents and articles for both web and trade journals. Detailed knowledge of social media would be an advantage.
As Media Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Responding to media queries and monitoring social media
- Anticipating media queries and preparing Q&A
- Arranging media briefings and preparing spokespeople
- Drafting the release to accompany the publication of monthly market statistics
- Preparing copy for corporate documents or trade journals
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid and demonstrable experience of financial PR
- Advanced drafting skills, and awareness of differing tones for differing audiences
- Experience of crisis communications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
