Senior Account Executive – Public Affairs

One of London’s leading integrated communications consultancies is seeking a driven Senior Account Executive to join their Public Affairs team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a good understanding of a wide range of media and stakeholder engagement tactics, both proactive and reactive, as well as participating in new business and the agencies’ social media and marketing. You will be a self-starter with excellent communications skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day account administration and reporting, updating weekly schedules and ensuring media monitoring is complete
• Developing a good understanding of a wide range of media and stakeholder engagement tactics, both proactive and reactive
• Actively contributing to marketing and events, including social media, blogging and attending events
• Participating in new business activity, research and support drafting proposals
• Developing and maintaining a good understanding of the sector and remaining up to date on current affairs

An ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven communications experience, ideally within public affairs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• An ambitious and motivated nature and will be keen to help develop the business
• Attention to detail and the want to produce high-quality work
• Excellent time management
