This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative marketing campaigns aimed at driving behaviour change in businesses across the UK.

You will be based in the Campaigns and Compliance team; a specific unit within the CMA’s communications department that helps businesses (large and small) understand consumer and competition law. We deliver integrated communication campaigns to increase compliance and we measure its effectiveness, feeding our learning into future planning.

As Communications and Compliance Officer, you will play key role in these campaigns and your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering individual communication strategies using a range of channels (including partnership, PR, digital) and setting SMART objectives and planning/delivering robust evaluation of outputs and outcomes
  • Working closely with colleagues in other parts of the CMA to create impactful messaging and content for guidance materials, articles, newsletters, presentations and social media
  • Procuring, managing and analysing research to deliver insights into the CMA’s audiences, and take an active role in segmenting these audiences for targeting, working with external agencies/partners as appropriate
  • Working with creative and other external suppliers to facilitate the delivery of CMA communication materials and campaign activity

You will need excellent project management skills and the ability to think innovatively and produce impactful content for online and offline channels, along with excellent communication skills to engage and build effective partnerships with stakeholders. The ability to design evaluation plans to measure the success of activity and collect and analyse the data is essential.
