Can you demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for any challenge you encounter? One of the fastest growing and most dynamic PR companies are looking for a Senior Account Manager/Account Director to join their Strategic Communications team.

You will be responsible for the overall management strategy for an impressive client list, generating creative ideas and campaigns to keep accounts fresh and engaging whilst leading a group of talented individuals. This team provide strategic corporate communications counsel to range of business in the film, FMCG, professional services and other industries, this role will see you servicing clients at c-suite level.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and running a portfolio of clients to include overall management of strategy for each client
  • Expanding contacts for the department and building your own network of influential business and national news journalists/writers/broadcaster influencers
  • Leading and motivating a talented group of individuals across all the accounts you lead on, inspiring them through your contribution
  • Developing a strong personal new business pipeline for the department, sourcing opportunities from cold but also progressing central business development

An ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of how your accounts fir in to and contribute to the overall department commercial performance
  • Substantial agency and account management experience
  • The confidence to identify, plan and manage the placement of strategic media coverage
  • A highly-committed and results driven attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills
