Communications Executive- Interim

**12 month contract**

We are working with a London based council on a Communications Executive role on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role sits within a communications team of 45 and works on highly politically engaged matters. Working across both communications and social media engagement, the role is a great opportunity for a strong writer with broad communications experience.

The successful post holder will provide communications on specific developments that the council is spearheading, providing communications materials and managing the website and social media content.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting communications materials for a variety of platforms
• Digital content management
• Stakeholder mapping
• Organising events and running community engagement projects
• Monitor and develop social media platforms

Key skills:

• Solid writer
• Experience working in charity, housing or local authorities
• Motivated and confident communicator
• Interest in government and development issues
• Experience working across a variety of platforms
