Want to work for one of the most respected property companies in the UK? Having developed several new and established commercial and residential properties in one of the most up-and-coming areas of London, they are now looking for a Communications Assistant to manage their social media channels and support the wider communications team. You will be fully immersed within their social media, proposing new ideas for content that will increase followers and encourages participation and creating creative, on-brand content. This is a really varied role and a great way to kick-start your career within an exciting in-house company!  

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the brand’s Instagram channel, posting regularly and ensuring it is up to date, engaging and brand-focused
  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social content that promotes audience interaction, increases followers and encourages participation
  • Researching consumer lifestyle trends to create engaging posts
  • Ensuring all PR campaigns are amplified on the brand’s social media channels and the resulting social media coverage is recorded
  • Building and maintaining the press office database of key media, blogger, influencer and PR contacts
  • Overseeing the online media monitoring services and ensuring searches and key words are updated

You will demonstrate:

  • A passion and understanding of social media
  • Awareness of the latest social media trends and opportunities
  • Fantastic communications skills; both written and verbal
  • Confidence to talk on the phone and a polite telephone manner
  • The ability to deal with confidential work and occasionally controversial issues with the media
  • High levels of motivation and the ability to act on your own initiative
