Inhouse - Consumer PR Manager - Alcohol Brands

Are you a consumer PR Manager with drinks/spirits experience seeking a new challenge close to the Hertfordshire area?

Our client is a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer. They are looking to hire a Consumer PR Manager into their team and are ready to interview as soon as possible. They offer flexibility to work at their offices close to Hertfordshire and also 2 days from their agencies office in the heart of London.

The team you would be joining are a creative and responsible consumer PR team who are newly formed. You would be working on Beers, Wines and Spirits (BWS) PR activations for brand and trade campaigns so a portfolio in this field is essential.

Duties:

• build a multi-layered BWS consumer PR plan, aligned to the strategy and UK Marketing Communications calendar to drive a compelling and cohesive brand message
• manage BWS consumer PR events and experiences to agreed budget and timings, at the same time as continually looking for ways to improve and innovate, 
• generate coverage and editorial content across media publications, online and offline
• manage the consumer BWS PR budget (in accordance with the forecast) and the agency relationship
• act as the main point of contact for all BWS PR-related queries
• continue to build and strengthen relationships with key journalists and bloggers across print and online

Essential:

• You will have at least 5 years' consumer PR experience working across the Beers, Wines and Spirits industry (Agency or in-house exp welcome)
• A very strong network of media contacts and influencers
• Budget and agency management experience behind you
• A Bachelor's degree or demonstrable experience
