As Senior Media Relations Officer, you will take responsibility for leading and delivering our communications to a high standard, searching for opportunities to promote key messages to the right audience, in the right way, by producing high quality-content, suitable for a variety of channels. You will provide assured and effective media handling advice, understand media agendas and how to respond to them effectively, and be able act as a confident, accurate spokesperson. Embedding social media into communications planning and helping improve the use of CMA’s digital channels will also be crucial.

Significant experience in dealing with the media in both proactive and crisis situations is essential, along with significant experience of writing and delivering high quality communication plans, with SMART objectives built in.

If you have a good nose for a story, a creative approach to developing content and the ability to swiftly assimilate detailed information we would be delighted to hear from you.
