Publicist - Sports

This boutique agency work with some of the biggest names in the sports industry, with a particular focus on football. They are currently seeking a Publicist  to join their small, tight-knit team in Central London.

As Publicist your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing highly successful publicity campaigns in collaboration with the senior staff

• Creating innovative opportunities to publicise campaigns using editorial, reviews, talent access and promotions

• Selling in publicity ideas, features, talent angles and news stories to meet coverage targets

• Setting up and delivering partnerships, promotions and competitions

• Attending regular client meetings to discuss campaign strategy, progress and results

• Maintaining excellent relationships with UK media, including writers, reviewers, producers and editorial decision-makers.

• Regularly updating, maintaining and managing a variety of social media accounts

The ideal candidate will have:

• Publicity experience in print, broadcast and online media

• A passion and keen interest in sports

• Industry knowledge, experience and best practices relevant to sport industry

• Confident written communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong work ethic
