Director – Fixed Term Contract

Leading strategic communications agency in Central London have an exciting opportunity for a Director to join and lead their successful Consumer team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

This role will see you working closely with and as an advisor to the senior team to shape and deliver the development of the team and organisation. Alongside this, you will be leading and developing current accounts, line managing and mentoring team members and actively building new business.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Provide senior counsel to clients, ensuring the development of communications strategies
• Lead on all client contact whilst shaping and steering programme strategy and delivery
• Oversee account delivery teams, providing leadership example and guidance to team and peers
• Shape and lead media strategy as well as first point of contact for issues and crisis
• Lead on campaign and programme strategy and proposal development
• Analyse the shape and role of digital and social media and frequently contribute new content
• Drive growth on existing clients and contribute to winning new business

Key skills and experienced desired:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar Consumer PR role (agency or in-house)
• Influential and confident communication skills
• Budget management experience
• Ability to nurture strong internal and external relationships 
• Strong leadership skills and team management experience
