Corporate Communications Assistant

VMAGROUP are working with a multi-national transport group to find a Corporate Communications Assistant to join their team. This varied role will provide strong support across internal and external communications. Activities will range from administrative assistance, working on major projects and updating the corporate website and intranet.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting a range of department projects including annual and half-yearly report production
• Supporting the delivery of internal corporate events and the Head of Investor Relations with the financial reporting programme
• To work with the Internal Communications Manager to produce content on internal updates
• To support the External Communications Manager with updating the corporate website and the development of the corporate social media presence
• To support across a range of disciplines that include Media Relations, Public Affairs, Investor Relations and Internal Communications

Person Specification:

• Experience working in a corporate environment or a FTSE listed company
• Proactive with career progression
• Agency or in-house broad communications experience
• A self-starter
• The ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
