Job Details
The UK business of this global pharmaceutical company wants to hire a Head of Product Communications. It’s a newly created role as part of re-purposed integrated communications function under new leadership. The plan is to create a new, agile product communications capability across key therapy areas.
The role will suit a senior-level operator with the gravitas and confidence to build the profile of the offer internally and to successfully navigate the challenges of establishing a new function. Key, too, will be an in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry from a product/brand perspective and the ability to deal with complex scientific data. Patient advocacy is an important part of the brief, so you’ll work closely with the Head of External Affairs as well as other internal teams (UK and global). You’ll also need to be familiar with ABPI guidelines and the workings of NICE and the NHS.
It’s an opportunity to build a modern, integrated communications strategy from the ground up within an entirely supportive culture.
