The Role:

Thanks to company growth, this exciting are looking for, ideally and Account Director but will considering those at Senior Account Manager level, to lead some exciting travel clients. You could be working on clients such as: Hilton Hotels, Palm Spring California, Holiday Inn, Cuba Direct, Visit Berlin, Hotel Le Toiny, Adrian Hoteles and Wonderful Indonesia, to name but a few!

For this role, travel PR experience is preferred, but not essential – wider lifestyle brand exposure and a track-record of securing coverage in key lifestyle publications will allow you to flourish in this role. Ideal candidates will be proactive and energetic with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

 

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver professional, public relations support to clients, including strategic direction, implementation and client service as well inspiring and developing the team, new business development, financial management and maintaining fantastic media relations.

This will be achieved by:

  • Providing strategic direction to clients and the team
  • Strategic PR planning, fully reflecting client objectives and targets as well as the market environment
  • Creative campaign management and implementation including effective media pitching, organising media events, planning and hosting media fam trips, client tradeshow support, arranging media interviews etc
  • Establish strong and profitable relationships with clients, gaining their confidence and ensuring retention and growth
  • Leverage familiarity with the media and awareness of current/industry affairs for effective communications strategies, tactics and results
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key journalists and bloggers 
  • Effective media management to capitalise on all coverage opportunities
  • Writing of materials including press releases, project proposals, presentations and other content
  • Delivering high quality new business and other client presentations
  • Identify, generate and qualify new business leads and manage through to conversion
  • Produce timely and high-quality client reports and analysis as required

 

This office, despite being located just five minutes from Oxford town center, are easy accessible from Paddington main line (58 minutes), and driveable from the surrounding home-counties of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire as well as North Hampshire. Main feeder towns could include Reading, Swindon, Guildford, Banbury and Bicester.
