Account Manager - technology, financial services, b2b

A fantastic new PR Account Manager role has come in with an independent international PR agency. The agency was set up to challenge the way PR is done, creating a newsroom buzz to make sure a story is part of the day’s news agenda and offering more of a personal touch to the way this is done.  The agency specialise in technology, financial services and b2b PR accounts, working across big brands and small niche companies. They would like somebody who is intellectual, outgoing, a fast learner and someone who has the creative ability to make b2b topics sound really exciting! This position will be working on a mix of accounts which will be built around own personal interests and experience but are likely to be two of their biggest clients.

The role will involve:

• Leading and managing client accounts, offering daily counsel and support
• Creating a range of exciting content
• Measuring the success of PR delivery and reporting to clients on progress
• Establishing a broad range of media contacts and regularly pitching, achieving high-profile coverage in a variety of press
• Managing a team of Account Executives

Please apply if you have:

• Previous experience in b2b PR, either agency or in-house
• Experience in one of the following sectors – technology, finance, recruitment
• A proven pitching capability and extensive media contacts
• Business development exposure
• Team management experience
