With ambitious growth plans over the next 10 years, this top company is now looking for a PR Manager to lead the UK PR strategy. This is a unique opportunity for someone seeking a new challenge working within an established marketing team. The company is looking for someone who can spearhead a new direction in its marketing communications.

The role is based in Central London in nice modern offices with a friendly culture and excellent benefits and travel perks.

The Role

This a permanent position for the brand reporting into a Marketing Director. The PR Manager (Senior) will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the global PR team to set a yearly PR plan and devising the PR strategy for the UK across multiple channels.
  • Building the brands presence and awareness as well as managing a fast-paced, proactive press office function
  • Leading external agencies and freelancers on various PR projects and campaigns to ensure optimal output
  • Working closely with the company’s founder and MD on corporate profiling opportunities, corporate announcements and overseeing the creation of all PR materials for UK media
  • A hands-on approach dealing with the UK media across online, print and broadcast and taking the lead on media and exclusive events.
  • Measuring success and tracking ROI of campaigns
  • Supporting the brand marketing manager to secure campaign exposure with key media  

The ideal PR Manager (Senior) will:

  • Be at Account Director-Associate Director level agency side or be at an equivalent level in-house.
  • Have a global mindset with a solid PR background in the travel and leisure sectors across consumer/corporate/trade with excellent media contacts.
  • Be used to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  
  • Be a self-starter able to drive PR campaigns and brand message
  • Have a proactive and problem solving approach to work
  • Have experience managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • A sense of humour!
