Customer and Project Manager

Job Details

This not-for-profit initiative is part of the marketing and creative industry's biggest member organisation - it is a new initiative, launched earlier this year, to provide the marketing and communications industry with new research and insights into measurement standards.

Currently a team of 5, the initiative sits within the wider organisation of 70 people, meaning you get the best of both worlds - a hands on role with lots of responsibility, but the social and team element of a wider organisation.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about the marketing industry that wants the opportunity to work alongside senior level stakeholders and build relationships with some of the most important people in the industry.

Reporting into the Director of the initiative, the Project Manager is a varied role - you will be responsible for project managing the new initiative amongst member organisations, working with senior level internal and external stakeholders. Additionally you will be leading on the communications for the initiative, including developing website content, writing newsletters & blog posts and ensuring the organisation is represented and talked about in the right way.

Responsibilities include:

* Delivering effective project management and providing recommendations as to how it can be improved
* Managing customer and stakeholder relationships by ensuring they have support and satisfaction
* Delivery of marketing plans and stakeholder communications, both internal and external, including stories, case studies and guidance
* Managing the website
* Co-ordinating and helping to deliver events and training

Skills required for the Project Manager include:

* Strong project / campaign management abilities - being very organised and ensuring there is a plan of action that's followed
* Experience working in a marketing or communications agency in an Account Manager role
* Experience managing and communicating with senior stakeholders
* An understanding of different marketing channels
* Excellent written ability across various channels

Salary: the new Project Manager will be offered a salary of up to £36k depending on experience.
