An innovative and dynamic energy organisation needs to hire an Interim Media Relations Manager to join them ASAP for c3 months. 

The postholder will provide cover for a media relations manager and will be a the forefront of the organisation's media relations programme, generating media coverage, responding to and managing critical reactive media enquiries and producing creative copy and content. 

Key tasks:
- Develop and execute media plans that will deliver consistent media coverage 
- Respond to and manage high profile reactive media enquiries for positive outcomes
- Horizon scanning for reactive opportunities and press planning

The successful candidate will have a track record of combining creative thinking with a good understanding of the media to deliver excellent press coverage. You will have proven crisis handling expertise and a track record of successfully managing reactive media queries from national media outlets.
