Account Executive – PR Agency

Account Executive opportunity at a leading, global healthcare communications agency in central London.

The Agency:

Our client is a leading, healthcare specialist agency, who has been in the business for over fifteen years - therefore some of the best skills, experience and knowledge in the industry. Creating impactful comms for big name and specialist brands. With offices across the globe, this agency have won numerous awards for their compelling work and they’ve featured as a great place to work for several years.

With a mission to raise the bar in healthcare communication, they are now looking to add to their central London HQ office and particularly within their medical education division.

Here they cover a diverse range of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, oncology, respiratory diseases, dermatology, multiple sclerosis and ophthalmology. To help their clients, they offer a wide range of activities include patient advisory work, animations, green screen videos, websites and virtual meetings, in addition to more traditional medical communications such as congress activities, core slide decks, data interrogation and publications.

The role: Account Executive

Reporting into an AM/SAM, the AE plays a key role in contributing to and supporting the account teams, ensuring the team can deliver to meet the client needs. You’ll play an important role in the provision of effective and efficient organisation and implementation of campaigns with all its components. In addition to supporting with client deliverables, the successful candidate will begin to develop their all-round project management and communication skills, gaining a broad understanding of key medical education programmes and gaining access to a host of activities with a range of responsibilities.

To be successful, attributes desired:

• 6+ month’s experience as a junior account executive or so
• Ideally scientific/medical education comms experience
• Agency or in-house gained pharma experience
• Educated to degree level, scientific is preferable but not essential
• Good time manager, who is organised and detail focused
• Excellent communicator and team-player
• Passionate about health education and making a positive difference
• Young, sparky, hungry to learn and develop PR career
