Senior PR Executive

Our client is a high-profile, leading body in the travel industry, playing an important role in resolving consumer disputes, setting industry standards and dealing with a wealth of industry-wide issues. They are looking for a talented Senior PR Executive to join an experienced, creative and dynamic communications team.

You’ll work within a busy and exciting press office environment, dealing with a range of travel, tourism and transport related issues. You’ll help to manage a busy crisis comms function which represents the voice of the industry in responding to issues and incidents, some of them highly sensitive.

Together with the wider team, the successful candidate will take on responsibility for handling reactive media enquiries with confidence, as well as managing and devising proactive media campaigns on a range of topical and seasonal industry issues. You’ll also have a handle on crisis and issues management, content generation, supporting consumer PR initiatives and acting as a spokesperson as required.

No two days are the same in this busy but very friendly, fulfilling and collaborative set up. The successful candidate will have experience of a fast-paced press office (either from time in-house or in consultancy) and will enjoy working in a multi-issue organisation.
