What we are looking for

Hill+Knowlton Strategies is looking for a Regional Director, to head up one of the Middle East’s largest and fastest growing energy and industrials practices. Working across flagship regional and international accounts, the role will see the applicants based in Dubai, but with opportunity to travel around the MEA region.  

We are looking for a highly motivated PR and Communications expert, to take on responsibility for driving senior client relationships within the energy and industrials sector, growing key accounts, new business development, and demonstrating the depth and breadth of your expertise to internal and external audiences. Must have energy and industrial practice industry experience. You will also work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Directors (MD) to lead on crisis and corporate projects with cross-MENA teams.

What we expect from you

You will need to demonstrate a calm and purposeful way of working, underpinned by relentless professionalism. You will need to have a positive agency profile that is recognized in relation to your specialism across the wider agency, beyond your local team.

As a sector lead with P&L responsibility, you will identify and promote best practice in client counsel, account leadership and business development, support a growing team and demonstrate sound financial management and judgment. You will be a business strategist as much as a creative communications expert and underpin both with keen emotional intelligence and inspiring people management.
