Senior Corporate Comms Manager

My client, a publicly listed industrial thread manufacturer serving the apparel, footwear and speciality industries is looking for a Head of Corporate Reporting to join their corporate team. Your role will be to deliver high quality financial and sustainability reporting ensuring all reporting procedures are effective and operate robustly to meet internal and external audit and regulatory expectations. The role also covers managing year-end reporting programme across their Annual Report and Full Year results; sustainability reporting; digital reporting and working with relevant stakeholders on managing, maintaining and developing best practice content.

This role reports to the Head of Group Communications and has close working relationships with many parts of the business, in particular Group Marketing, Group Finance, Human Resources and Technology teams.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate: 

• Project management skills – implementation, delivery and execution  
• Working jointly with stakeholders to ensure they are able to convey their message and underlying business drivers in a clear and succinct manner consistent with the Group’s strategy and priorities
• Managing key suppliers to ensure successful production across print and digital channels
• Advising on best practice format and content of printed and digital versions
• Content owner for key sections of the printed Report – Chairman’s Statement, CEO Statement and Principal Risk section
• Content owner and editor for all aspects of the online report – includes writing and re-purposing content, and creating rich media assets as required
• Full Year Results – working closely with Investor Relations and Group Communications on external reporting of the FY results programme and updating corporate brand assets
• Sustainability Reporting – working closely with Head of CR to ensure alignment with external reporting of performance and activities in the year. More broadly support Group on journey towards enhanced CSR reporting across print and digital channels to achieve industry leadership in field of Sustainability
• Draft content for various channels around group activities, products and services that supports Group’s overall corporate reporting, positioning and strategy
• Provide specialist communications advice and guidance to local markets as needed
