EMR are working with one of the UK's leading full-service marketing agencies to recruit a PR Account Director on a permanent basis.
As PR Account Director, you will be responsible for building on success, driving growth and working with in-house digital, creative, copy, video and social teams to create innovative solutions for clients.
You will be the main point of contact for new and existing PR clients, and know how to identify and convert new client growth. The role will require regular travel between offices in London, South Coast, South West and East Midlands and you need to have a full clean driving licence.
Your main responsibilities as PR Account Director will include:
* Act as the key point of contact for PR clients, providing a senior consultative approach and oversee the execution of client campaigns
* Lead the PR team internally, mentoring & managing direct reports
* Act as the lead on PR pitches and meetings, ensuring the wider team are involved
* Have a hands-on approach as PR Account Director: draft clients communications, build media relationships and manage crises communications on behalf of clients
* Establish and maintain evaluation methods to ensure services meet a best-in-class standard and conduct regular client reviews
As PR Account Director, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
* Strong track record identifying, selling and executing PR campaigns in an agency environment, preferably working with clients in the property sector
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills: with the ability to motivate, manage and inspire in-house teams
* Proven understanding of the media including online, print, broadcast and social
* Strong commercial, creative and strategic abilities
* Confident presenting skills, with experience of pitching and leading client presentations and meetings
