THE ROLE

We’re looking for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to join our full-time team.  Working across all of our projects, you’ll be based in our Shoreditch office

Account Management (40%)

  • Client handling – managing relationships with clients from brand, event, consumer tech sectors
  • Reporting and evaluating work thoroughly
  • Team management – managing workflow and nurturing others

Media Relations (40%)

  • Management of dynamic PR campaigns – from conception through execution 
  • Continually building relationships with senior media contacts across consumer print, broadcast and online
  • Maximising new media opportunities 
  • Identifying opportunities for partnerships and collaborations 

Live Events (10%)

  • Managing teams and media at live events
  • Managing on-site press office functions 
  • Project management 
  • Budget management 

New Business Support (10%)

  • Research 
  • Contributing to brainstorms and developing ideas
  • Helping to write and deliver pitches

THE PERSON

  • An understanding of brands and how they operate within the cultural world
  • Minimum 3 years agency experience in communications or PR, preferably with music and brand experience
  • Excellent writing skills – capable of adopting different styles for different purposes 
  • Clear communicator 
  • Ridiculously organised, motivated and results-orientated
  • A proven record of flourishing in a media-facing role
  • Strong media contacts 
  • Strategic thinker who uses initiative to make things happen
  • Adaptable multi-tasker
  • Passionate about culture and the media
  • Highly active and personally interested in the music/the arts
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

2:1 University Degree or considerable experience
