We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional PR professional to join our marketing and communications team.  This role will take an active lead in developing media strategies and plans to raise our profile on a national and regional level and position us as a leading voice in the children and social care sector. 

As the first point of contact for both proactive and reactive press activity, you will be a confident practitioner with exceptional media relationship and copy writing skills (from news to features and case stories) and have the ability to develop new and collaborative relationships.  Being able to craft a compelling narrative around our case stories, have a good eye for a news hook, strong attention to detail, and think and plan at a strategic level, will be second nature.

To perform well in this role, you’ll need:

  • Solid media relations skills
  • Excellent copy writing
  • Experience of delivering integrated campaigns and content for use across a range of channels and platforms
  • The ability to work independently to drive innovation, creativity and results
  • Strong project management skills and experience of managing events
