Job Details
A highly reputable, international retail group is looking for a UK PR Manager to join their ambitious team. As PR Manager, you will provide PR & Communications support to the Regional/Centre Marketing team at major consumer events, create a strong in-house network of contacts and use your knowledge of the retail environment to bring this company to the forefront of the market. Your responsibilities:
- Overseeing and developing the PR and Communication strategy and managing the day-to-day activities of the PR agencies in the region
- Proactively drive relationships with key local, regional and national media
- Provide PR & Communications support to the Regional/Centre Marketing team at major consumer events, such as centre openings/launches, late night shopping events press trip and media engagement
- Working in partnership with regional and head office digital team on influencer and blogger strategy
- Setting up an in-house data base of contacts for on going business opportunities
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience working within a PR / Communications environment, specifically knowledge of the Fashion and Lifestyle sector from a Media and Retail perspective
- Connections in the luxury fashion industry. Must have a great network – editors, stylists and influencers.
- Good current knowledge of (regional) consumer and lifestyle press and local, regional and national level.
- Proven experience in media relations and agency management
- Excellent communication skills
