PR Account Director or Senior Account Director wanted with personal finance experience to join multi-award winning communications consultancy as it goes from strength to strength.

About them

Our multi-award winning client is one of the fastest growing independent PR agencies in central London. Offering their corporate clients, start-ups and consumer brands the chance to be better understood by the world and vice versa. Their services include brand and communications strategy, digital consultancy, PR, media relations, issues management and behavioural insight.

They are now looking for a bright and tenacious candidates with personal finance experience to join their talented and growing team as the new biz keeps on coming.

About role

Looking for an Account Director or Senior Account Director to lead on some new clients and to help agency continue to flourish. Exact clients to be confirmed but will include a mix of personal finance, fintech, investment and/or energy – exact portfolio to be determined based on experience and passion.

Reporting into a board director, you will lead a team of 3-4 juniors, give great advice and shoulder a lot of responsibility as you lead on 4-5 accounts.  You are more than just a media relations expert and are at home running integrated campaigns including digital. You are definitely a wordsmith and can write client proposals as well as great campaign strategies. 

About you

  • A dynamic account director or senior account director with good personal finance experience.
  • A solid knowledge of corporate profiling, good knowledge of business and ideally investment press but also understand what makes a cracking news story or stunt.
  • Able to turn hand to big brand work, but also enjoy the challenge of strategic briefs for lesser known organisations and start-ups.
  • Fascinated by business and what makes businesses tick.
  • A good command of integrated comms and how to reach the people that matter to clients.
  • Able to demonstrate your hunger for the media across the board.
  • Results-focused with proven client consultancy skills. 
  • Proven experience of leading accounts and delivering impactful programmes.
