Challenging and diverse, this is a great position for a natural stakeholder engager who is politically well connected, highly credible and can communicate collaboratively with a variety of audiences from government departments to environmental stakeholders and consumers.

There is much to be done at a transitionary time in this sector ahead of the next regulatory price review so experience in a regulated sector will be preferable.

A strategic approach will need to be balanced by a 'feet on the ground and roll up your sleeves' personality! Likewise, a mix of an in-house and agency background is ideal.
